Giorgio Chiellini: Pep Guardiola's tactics have 'ruined' Italian defenders [source]

Well, first of all I don't think he has coached that many Italian defenders. Can't think of any

And also Italy won't be in the World Cup because they failed to score a single goal in more tan 180 minutes against SWEDEN. So they are pretty much ruining themselves

Pep's tactics have made him one of the best and most successful coaches in football history. And that's not personal opinion, that's a fact.

It was Manchu, I believe. Based on his Goalimpact.

I never said that. Goalimpact has always seen Sane as one of the most talented young German players, albeit not usually the most talented as some think. What I have said in the past is that there are some limitations on his game and that he works better in some systems than other ones(this is actually much more of a potential problem with the NT than it would be with us), and that he's not possible anymore and we should focus on the possible.

Fair enough. What I remember is you saying Brandt was more talented.

I did say that, but by Goalimpact's standards Brandt is more talented than pretty much everyone, so being in that category is not a sign of not being good enough to play for us.

*To put this in prospective, he's seen as more talented than Messi, Thomas Muller, and Mario Gotze were at 21, all players who were not late bloomers and are among the best 7 field players in the world.

Brandt more talented than Messi is a hard laugh though

I know his GI has always been crazy, and I‘m not one of those claiming GI is pure shit... But it’s also not always right

Pep Guardiola holds the record for "most consecutive wins" in all 3 leagues he's coached in

La Liga - Barcelona - 16
Bundesliga - Bayern Munich - 15
Premier League - Manchester City - 19*
