Some are predicting a retirement from the Nat team

Sadly there's no way in hell we can get any of those 3

I'm for keepeing Neuer as clear #1 but getting a solid/good GK and give him Pokal games. Neuer has been struggling with fitness and injuries in the last couple of years (broken foot, injured finger, calf strain...) and he is not getting any younger...

We cannot afford going into any key match with Ulreich or some other unproven youngster in goals just because Neuer sustained a last minute injury.

If Neuer happened to retired the next list (more obtainable) after those 3 should be
- Oblak
- Donnarumma
- Kepa

I really can't stand seeing Neuer not being the best goalkeeper in the world.

You think KEPA, aka the most expensive goalkeeper in the world, is obtainable?
Even Oblak would cost more than 100m. Donnarumma is the only attainable one on that list.

yes please, but no way he's leaving AC or Serie A.
Bayern in current form is not a team young players are attracted to - sadly.

I go with Nat team retirement immediately affect and Bayern at next year so we can go smoother at replacing him.
However, I don't think he will give up football that easily after all, may be remain Bayern in few more years until new coach comes.

For replacements, I prefer 2 goalies, both from Schalke, Ralf Fährmann in short term or Alex Nubel in long term.
In reality, Ralf is some kind of another Sven, same ages, same experience, a bit taller, more minutes until now
If Sven keeps his form stable and not shaken too easily, I rather keep him and buy Nubel next year (2020-2021)

Sven shouldn't stay this long either way.

Why is no one mentioning Onana? The guy's got crazy ass reflexes and good ball distribution. And he's young and considers Neuer the best in history. I think he would definitely look up to the chance to work with him.

Aside from him, honestly I'd only take Oblak(because MAtS, Allisson and Ederson are untouchables). Donnarumma's hype is still too high and would cost way too much for what he provides.

I just want to ask people in favor of Donnarumma - except that he's young, why you guys think that we should buy him?

Agree. He's been crap for 2 years in a row now. He's definitely not living up to his hype

I only just found out about this. I get the feeling it's going to be as surprising in terms of expectation vs reality as that anti-media conference. Don't think he will retire.
