One of the many things he can't do.

He can't play football in Bayern's standard either.

I just don't see this deeper more central offensive role working for him. He has little vision, absolutely mediocre passing.
He's at least better offensively when he's playing wide and overlapping.

He's a solid player all around but in my opinion, not good enough to start on the highest level (he probably won't anyway, once another CB is back).

I think we'd be better playing Benatia-Kimmich mid, with Alaba taking the LB spot.

Both him and Rafinha are a HUGE downgrade to Alaba/Lahm at the moment.

Yes. Bernat is a good LB, but expecting him go into midfield on attack the way Lahm and Alaba do is just nonsense. He has to overlap.

Haven't made my thoughts clear on this lad yet. Think it looked he was adapting well when he signed but this season he's looked bad at Bundesliga, think he might scarper back to the spanish "league" once Pep's gone.

It's not his fault... he could've been in the bench tonight, same as Xabi. He's good to warm the bench, no need for a better benchwarmer. It's someone else that is a piece of shite.

What a f#¤*ing waste! He just can't cut it in the big matches. He's not quick enough defensively. He's not creative and aggressive enough offensively. He can do overlaps and stepovers when he has room, nothing else. Simply not good enough on the highest CL level.

Who is playing him in a semifinal, nobody plays a backup in the semifinal... except someone who doesn't like CBs and other stuff.

If he was as good as Rafinha I would've been ok with it. He's got no offensive brain AT ALL.
