Kimmich is a very intelligent guy... so he can succeed as Lahm did

People are just forcing a way for Kimmich to start when in reality Bayern should of bought a replacement for Lahm a while ago.

He reminds me of Roberto, except Roberto is a lot more fluid, but not as good of a tackler.

Except he is plenty fast and agile.
And not tactically aware?

Seriously man, do you just decide you wanna argue about something and then make up some nonsense to support your invented argument?

Yeap. watch Kimmich post Pep and tell me if you think he has tactically awareness.

For a Fb, hes not really fast at all or fluid. Roberto also has tactically flaws as a RB even though going forward he is probably one of the best in europe.

He's played consistently well in 3 positions and looks as if he has years of experience. He hasn't played enough at RB to be conclusive but he was always solid there. He's had some bad games in midfield but they're not the majority.

I dont think so.

In the beginning of the year, he scored a few vital goals, but his overall game if anything has been anything but good. However, at the moment, there really is no one to play.

Coman has flopped all season long, Sanches isn't ready and we really have no other options... with the neverending injuries this team always seems to have....Hence another reason why Alonso plays as much as he does even at this stage of his career.

Kimmich is capable of playing as a rB without any question. However, is he really Bayern level for a Rightback... or a contento level.

He replaced Lahm satisfactorily in the EURO. That's all we've seen of him so far but it's encouraging. Worth a shot in my opinion, especially since Rafinha has been playing well if we have to resort to him.

Yes, he does, and yes, he is.
You are grasping at straws and pulling points out of thin air with absolutely no evidence to support your claims.

Not for me. I think he can become much better both #6 and #8 than Schweinsteiger has ever been. :)

It's great that this means he will get a very regular playing time, but until he turns into a world class RB, I'd also say that his best position is in midfield. I think he can reach the very top level much faster as a midfielder than as an RB.

I'd tend to agree with this, but I think at this point playing time in any position is most important right now.
