I think the problem is that they are all well established players by now...rotation doesn't really fly at that point, because you just want to play the important games. Whoever is 3rd choice will be unhappy most of the times. When you are like 28 years old and have 2-3 seasons at the top of your game, patience isn't such a good option anymore. But anyway, hopefully I will be wrong, and we'll be able to go into next season with 3 WC CBs. [-o<

Xabi Alonso will retire so Javi Martinez have to get back to the defensive midfielder position. Boateng and Hummels will be the starting CB and Sule will be a great third option, but in case we need a fourth option, there will be Javi. Also I think Badstuber will leave.

CB position will have enough depht after a long time, but I dont like our future in the fullback position with Bernat and Lahm leaving the team.

Step up, Jerome, it's not over. And he was having fun with Kroos after the game...

Injuries have kind of ruined him. Better bounce back quickly because he might lose his place to Süle next season.

To be fair to him, it's a high pressure game after a long time out, playing LCB which has never been his favored side.
Either way, you can see it in his expressions...his focus is just not the same as it was some 1-2 seasons ago.

Doesnt really matter. There are no other options.

Put in a fresh Kimmich and alaba, Madrid's aerial assault will demolish both of them. Realistically, Madrid should of scored more today and the PK was BS anyways.

as I have been saying he needs a leader right next to him otherwise he is a normal being...
I am 100% sure that if we keep using two central defenders Sule will take his place next to Hummels from day 1.
