Very happy we got him. Regarding the name pronunciation: I have colombian friends amd they say it like Hah-més.

No player/contract is bigger than the club, time to show it now...

Nah man, bastos80 knows the best. He studied Spanish for 6 (six) years, what do the Colombians know...

What I like in him is that he plays real easy football. He knows what he must do and how and when to do it.
No way to put him and my man Tolisso on the bench, with them our team is going to look soo much creative from the last years..
I hope with Carlo again,he's going to show his real face again.
Let the season begin !

@Firefox,look up for this post :P
And also,i think if we give him 11 and 10 after Robben, many people are going to buy his number 11,it's going to be "classic" jursey, something like Jordan's number 45.

I dont think Robben would give it, not by a long shot. Except if he "softened" up with the ageing or a hefty sum is mentioned "under the table" to sweeten the deal

I wouldn't like our club legend on his last year to be stripped off his number because of a new toy.

Worryingly, there is quite a bit of stuff online about James having attitude problems. It's not like he's going to get an automatic starting spot at Bayern, hopefully he isn't going to be like a pre 2013 Robben because that's settling oneself up for failure at a team like Bayern. Some of it is quite damning, like reporting late for training. Now that's grossly unprofessional. Honestly don't know what to make of this transfer.

I'm not convinced such a contract clause exists in the first place but I'm quite certain Adidas would prefer to keep FCB and the players happy. They have something like an 8% stake in the club, yeah? Not to mention the huge kit deal.....I think that takes priority over making sure James wears #10. If I had to guess it's more just that they don't want him changing kit numbers mid season.
