Secondly, Ronaldo stays fit because he works hard at it but also because he’s a freak. His body is far from the norm. A significant portion for him is luck.

Lastly, it’s a very rare individual that is able to dedicate themselves 100% to their profession. James is not Dembele playing fortnite. Please forgive me for not calling for his execution for his crime of going to the beach. Let’s have a little introspection. It’s difficult for me to follow jabronis who have nothing better to do than hang out online and talk about someone else’s professionalism. It’s not like there are many of you working more than 8 hours a day.

If Jupp was our coach (even Flick), I'm 99 % sure that there would be no problem for him. But it is what it is, everyone should look forward.

Don't be silly, we are. As I had said a year ago, he's better than Coutinho.

Exactly. He would possibly not have been a starter given Müller’s rebirth but he would at least have been a real option on the bench, which we don’t have. He might also have become a starter as a winger instead of Coman.

Well, it's great that he admitted it's all about him(not just the Bayern rejection, but his attitude too) and yet you could have seen last night and this morning on AS' headline that the Colombian doesn't understand why he isn't playing for Madrid lately.
He literally wasted half of his career and best years at Real Madrid, but obviously the Spain capital has always been worth of it. :D

What's the best, James is so cheap right now that we can sign him anytime we want, but clearly he isn't worth of signing in Bayern eyes.

Who probably is also better than Coutinho...

6 wasted years in Madrid, literally. His first season 2014/2015 and first Bayern season 2017/2018 is all he got in period 2014-2020. That's absolutely nothing for a great talent like talent. Colombian version of Mario Götze.

I mean, what kind of chances did he have between 2014-2017 near Modrić, Kroos, Cristiano, Bale and even Isco? 4 are still in Madrid and even playing very important roles under Zidane, haha.

No place in midfield, no place on wings. #-o

The interesting thing is that he is the right city but the wrong team. James is a very effective 10 in a counterattacking team, in that role I watched him for the first time playing for Banfield in Copa Libertadores and he was a show! That Banfield team was molded on the Bilardo school with 8 men behind the ball at all times, one No.10 linkage and 2 speedy frontmen (to some extend also the Pekerman concept, another coach that made the most out of James), which for the most part the only thing that Simeone knows and successfully executes.

You are right. However, Pérez couldn't swallow 2 players moving to city rivals Atlético in one summer and they all talk about "an agreement" between 2 clubs about no transfers in the last 20 years. :) And there is already Álvaro Morata who came indirectly from Chelsea.

Marcos Llorente is doing more than great at Atlético compared to Madrid and then again sending another one would really upset their spoiled, arrogant fans.

What I have also noticed in AS/SportBild articles who cited the Colombian Corocol, James has been giving too much importance to R. Madrid fans and his reputation which is stupid anyway if you were just a half step away from joining the fierce rivals last summer during the USA pre-season tournament and the club president was the one who vetoed the deal.

It's your career and your job to think what's best for you.

And with the potential of losing Thiago, he could have soften that blow.
