Open and watch videos from the last season in Bayern’s YouTube channel. He is already learning German.

Yeah laugh , sub James such as asistant . Maybe this is time James teach more quintero about passing key passes more if Colombia want to go far . He need time to treat his injury . If colombia must leave world cup soon , Maybe James help Niko kovac train our players attack in the first begining of season and play in the half of season . I am tired whenever I heard James have injuries

I doubt that James is as popular as Buffon or Iniesta.

Guess you're underestimating the south american market. Also Iniesta has never really been a PR gold mine like James.

Total social media reach:

1. Ronaldo - 243,000,000
2. Neymar - 145,000,000
3. Messi - 143,000,000
4. James - 70,000,000
5. Kaka - 61,000,000
6. Bale - 61,000,000
7. Iniesta - 54,000,000
8. Özil - 53,500,000
9. Ibra - 50,000,000
10. D. Luiz - 49,000,000
...
46. Buffon - 9,200,000

Numbers are as of 2017; I added up James' followings myself and it was closer to 90m today

(I'm not gonna go to the trouble of typing out each individual one and their numbers but the rest, in order from highest to lowest are: Rooney, Benzema, Ramos, Suarez, Pique, Casillas, Falcao, Ronaldinho, Agüero, Alves, Villa, Kroos, Fabregas, Götze, Reus, Oscar, Schweini, E Hazard, Mata, Balotelli, Neuer, Pogba, De Gea, Lewy, Modric, Griezmann, Alonso, Varane, Poldi, Valdes, Willian, A Sanchez, Forlan, Chicharito, Rakitic, Buffon, Wilshire, Sturridge, Gerrard, Walcott)

I'm sure some of these have changed - would expect guys like Griezmann and Pogba to be a lot higher nowadays - but on the whole I think it's safe to say that James is probably still right around that #4 spot.

Happy birthday James ! I wish you many more successful years in Bayern !

Edit: Jörg Wacker (Bayern's board member for internationalization and strategy) on James Rodriguez: "His jersey is number one in sales. We never sign a player for marketing reasons only. James is a player who fulfills dreams." [tz]
