Seems he was pretty happy with Chelsea's 1-0 win over Barcelona

Goodstuber has made such good development this year. He should keep this steady line of improvement going and then soon he can compare with the best CBs in the world. And I think he can do that, hope I'm not mistaken.

And then to think that 1 year ago I wanted him out, or at least bench :D.

I still think we're not giving the guy enough credit. So, from this line onwards, this thread shall be known as the Holger Badstuber Appreciation Thread, in which there is to be nothing except positive comments as to how good he's turned out to be.

Holger is an amazing tackler and a threat in the air, Thiago Silva must bow to his epicness. Pique must surrender to his aerial prowess, as should Puyol. He makes everyone else shit and jizz their pants at the same time. How about that?

Lets not get ahead of ourselves Thiago Silva is on another level to other CBs especially Badstuber but for everyone else he is definitely passing them....

This was one of my posts last November.

Today I say that while we did let go of one of our gems, we've found another one :)

BadstUber???

Postby BaVaRi_39 » Fri Aug 31, 2012 6:53 pm

What do you think about badstuber warming the bench??
can he snatch boateng's place in the 1st team.. given boateng seems to get tired and slow in some matches ( later in 2nd half)?
