Sure but still from my POV this article is a joke.

Yes but your POV is a complete disregard towards the intention of the article, which is to talk about players who did much better away from Bayern than at Bayern. Mandzukic does not belong to this article, same as Ballack for example.

I gotta agree, that article sort of clutches at straws. Placing Shaqiri at the top of the list for two deflected goals against Man Utd? That's hardly *proven talent*. Let's not forget that he was relegated last year. But yeah, two great matches in the prem will land you a place in history, apparently.
It's not like any of the players in that list(except Hummels) turned out to be world class players after they left Bayern, kinda like the article tries to points out.
But hey, they needed to swoop in Shaqiri's name and his mediocre 3 years spent at Bayern and what better way to do it

Clutching at straws yes, because few players who were flops (or relative flops) at Bayern had success after leaving Bayern. I'd put Klose and Frings at the top of the list. Those were the two biggest relative disappointments, in my opinion.

Shaqiri is the only one who can be considered to have made it, and Hummels since they chose to include him. The rest, well, none ever reached Bayern level so it doesn't make sense to talk about them in the context of Bayern having let them go.

Shaqiri also took AGES to get to where he is today. He left us years ago.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!

Shaqiri is still not good enough and never will be.

If I were you I would have refrained from saying that. At least until 14.03

Shaqiri is a very solid all-round player with moments of magic. He's played brilliant games in his career but he isn't a brilliant player, too inconsistent.

I swear if you could get international tournament Shaqiri to play at that same level for the course of a whole club season he'd be a €100m+ player...hahaha
