Well, they defined who he is today. Without them, he might not even be a professional footballer. Perhaps he channeled his anger into football.

Two years at top level?
Sorry Franck, but no. Even today he can hardly play two halves of a game at top level.

I'm sorry but I really don't like such statements when they come from the player himself.

10 years ago no one would expect this from Ribery to think about himself and Bayern, but he became so loyal and dedicated to the club that right now he won't leave it and will force everything to stay although he should think about his age, form and performances and what's the best for the club's future.
I don't like these comments either, but that's Ribery we know and he'll always push it in this way. He should rather let Coman to do his job and work with him as a tutor and accept the fact he is a sub player nowadays.

In my opinion Ribery's reputation is also at stake. He will never lose his status in my eyes (nor, I am sure, in any of yours), but he risks having a whole new generation of Bayern fans who only remember his last few years and who will think he is overrated and not a great player.

Not that he cares about that, probably. :D

He won't care about that at all. Those who watched him, watched him. Those who didn't, who cares. :D

Today's kids don't know what Milan and Inter(and many other clubs from Italy and around Europe) used to represent in football not long time ago or what domestic leagues used to be 15-20-25 years ago.

According to Kicker, Ribery will start the game againts Werder, not Coman? :-? :(
Why is Jupp doing this? Ribery played the last match, Werder is an easy opponent, and is a home match. I'm sad.

What's wrong with using Ribery at the first half and Coman in the second one?

IMO, I would do the opposite.
For me, Coman has always played MUCH better as a starter than a sub, dunno what it is but whenever he's came on in sub appearances I've been pretty underwhelmed. But when he starts he is great. Plus, we all know Franck is slowing down, so IMO it makes more sense to let Coman tire out the defense and Ribery come out once they've lost their legs a bit
