Well, actually what the article says is that the England Under 21 coach is considering calling him, without any quotes or whatever so even this is speculation from their end.

Why are you guys so pessimistic thinking Bayern won't pay? At a minimum, you will get over a million euros. If and when you add up all the clauses, it's over 2 million euros. I think he may well be our reserve team's most expensive signing ever.

It's probably because we, as a club, are used to getting ripped off by other clubs from home grown talent. I think everyone's just trying to make sure we get the best price for Dale that we can.

If Bayern said they'll pay that price, then Bayern will pay that price. If you undervalue him, that's your problem. No point in being suspicious about receiving money for a transfer deal.

Oh I understand what you're on about, you've misunderstood it. When he says we won't see a penny he means as the money will go to the chairman and none of it will be invested into the squad. It's nothing against Bayern, it's our chairman.

Wow that's such a crime if it happens. This is a huge deal for a club like Tranmere. You may have lost your best player (or at least I think he is), but you could strengthen the team well with that money and come out stronger in the long run.

Agreed -- greedy chairman should do the smart thing and invest to continue good business -- smaller clubs are always ruined by greedy business practices.

Tranmere’s Dale Jennings, 18, is completing his £1.7m move to Bayern Munich despite a late scare over his medical, which showed up a pelvic problem.

So this transfer window, Bayern managed to sign a Japanese player (for the first time) and an English player. Talk about rarity! :P

That would have been bad if Dale failed his medical.

Reports in UK media say Jennings has today signed for Bayern. Keep an eye on the German press and www.fcbayern.de/
