He's blaming our players instead of his boy Kovac obviously... Cause of all the versatility Kovac has shown...

The worst season we've had since 2012, although probably this season will be worse.

Carlo Ancelotti: "My dismissal at Bayern Munich was the only bitter experience of my career. I wanted to change things, but the club had no intention to change their structure & philosophy and to promote a generational change among the players. It's being done now" [GdS]

Yeah you’re right, we are STACKED with WC, we are STILL the best team in Germany, we won against Dortmund, we won several CL in the last 15 years and we gave a WC coach and sports director - and this is just the last few weeks...
Even if it WERE only a few - it'd still be a few more than most other people on here suffering from loss and denial of reality... ;)

Huh?

I was merely alluding to the parallels in the entitlement of hypocrisy in the presser and ramsej‘s alike... Where’s an "I was right" in there?

KHR recalls the sacking of Ancelotti: I remember when I had to dismiss Ancelotti. I cried. Carlo understood the situation & hugged me. He said, 'It's okay. You're not my boss anymore, but we're still friends.' - I had to cry. He wasn't angry. I realized what a great person he is.

I have probably said it before but I am still generally of the belief that Ancelotti was just a case of wrong place/wrong time.

Of course hindsight is 20/20 but I think in a perfect world you have Ancelotti take over from Jupp and then Pep takes over once Ancelotti is done (basically, flip the two of their times here). I see Ancelotti as a manager who is exceptional at keeping a steady ship - give him a team who is playing at a top level and relatively "smooth" and in general he will continue to get results. But on the other hand, nowadays I think if you ask him to remold and reshape a team in a transition time - I'm not sure that's his strength.
As for Pep, we all know he loves to tinker and experiment and sometimes can have a tendency to want to 'fix' things that aren't broken. But I also think Pep is extremely strong in regards to shaping/molding teams, implementing a new style, guiding into a new period. Of course you all know I generally look back quite fondly on Pep's time here but I also think it's not a stretch to say that Ancelotti taking over from Jupp probably sees us win another UCL in that time and if Pep were coaching in the "Ancelotti period" I think we're probably a lot better off right now for it. But of course we weren't going to pass up the chance to sign Pep in 2013, so the rest is history. Oh well, so it goes.
