Fair enough. I think there are things to be critiziced on Carlo, but I guess the squad and him falling out was just a poor match.

It was evident pretty early, at least to me (and I got A LOT of heat for it!!), that he was basically on gluttony vacation in Germany... He might still be good or decent if he actually cared to work at all - but since he didn’t he was a shit coach...

This is a moot argument though. You can see it differently, especially if you were Italian. The way Italians see it: why didn't other teams turn on Ancelotti? Why didn't Milan players? Why didn't Real Madrid players? Why didn't Juventus players? Why didn't PSG players? So they point their fingers at Bayern players because they are the only ones who had a falling out with Ancelotti.

I cringe a little bit every time this thread gets bumped. PTSD or something.

Let's be honest about one thing we have a rotten apple in our team who needs to be rooted out; Ribéry. Probably other players were involved too, but they are valuable. Ribery should be cast out because a) he is no longer significantly contributing on the pitch and b) he is poison in the dressing room and WILL cause problems to any coach not called Jupp Heynckes.

Make him an example that crying to Hoeneß because the coach won't start you is unacceptable behavior.

That'd be neglecting the fact that no one here interfered in his work though

Ancelotti is close to becoming a Napoli coach, which is good news for Bayern because they would stop paying his salary next season.

I keep forgetting Bayern still has to pay his salary. Maybe appointing a low-profile coach was also a financial decision.
