Ridiculous claims.

Also Arsenal, Everton, Dortmund...

Some players just need to get what they deserve - a good club with good teammates.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for this young man who looks so humble, hungry and so motivated to prove himself at big stage in a club football after the WC title last year.

The same goes for Lucas, Perišić and hopefully for Coutinho and some other new players like no. 6 or a guy like Dani Olmo who is doing awesome in the European matches, just like tonight.

Poor performance as CB. He's great on the ball though.

And yet he still managed to look very bad before the goal. Against Mainz.
This is a good example of how stats speak a different story than what really happened on the pitch.
He's not really suited to be a right-back for this team. Also he's not the greatest defender.

It's not fair to compare him to Kimmich, but without the latter at RB we just miss so much.
The most I liked from Pavard was against the Schalke game where he played somewhat of a hybrid between RB and CB. I think that's his best position, in which he supports the build-up play but doesn't have much responsibility going forward. Also as a CB in a 4atb his defending is just way too passive. Süle/Boateng (if they get their shit together) and Lucas would probably be the best bet.
With Kimmich as the #8 on the right side and another winger like Gnabry, that could work.

As a RB, I just don't see it happening.

Kimmich and Thiago are clearly out of form at the start of the season.

I would say Kimmich is more out of position than out of form, he hasnt had a good match in midfield in like 2 years. Suele is more of a risk than Kimmich right now so Pavard should be playing centrally and Kimmich at right back.

Yep the timing on this was a beauty. Pavard seems like a turbulent character that’s always anxious and super hard on himself but pushes himself to the limit and gets these clutch moments that make him really stand out. Really enjoying watching him play. The lack of overconfidence and ego is making him my favorite Bayern player so far this season.

I expressed my doubts about Sule long time ago. I don't think it will ever reach the level of Humels or Boateng, he's got lucky by playing in Germany's least talented team in many years. But that's just my views on him.

Pavard is great, we've been talking that with a better midfield in front of him, he's going to deliver sooner than later, just like munchen99 said, he and Lewandowski are our most constant players this season so far.
