It's great Basti found a girl with more than a pretty face. Shame Ana couldn't really sustain herself consistently among the top, but even winning one slam is impressive! Seems like she and Basti will have time now to do something outside sport.

I watched the game actually, he was very good and his cross/assist for the first goal was phenomenal!
Schweini can provide to MU but he is doomed because Jose is fitness maniac and Schweini is their Alonso. You can judge a footballer just with the first touch and his first pass, Schweinsteiger is a class above from every MU midfiedler -except Pogba- still at this stage of his career but he lacks the monstrous athleticism which was his trademark for the abroad fans. LvG ruined him first though because he thought that Schweini was at the same level where he left him at 2010...

Can't watch him with that MU shirt, I just can't...

He might give him minutes in the EL because he doesn't care that much about that competition.

The guy just played for the first time in over a year, scored probably their most beautiful goal of the season and I think also assisted one. He should realise they're in **** at the moment, eat his pride and play him.

Best player on the pitch today, truly should be getting more minutes but I understand that after spending a billion dollars on their newest toy they're gonna wanna fit him in as well, so...

What a legend! What. A. Legend. Seriously, who else is able to do that after being unjustly relegated to the bench/reserves for the good part of a season, demoralised, humiliated and yet do that sort of performance on the first chance?

After having read some comments from Man ure fans on espn sight ragging on Schweini, I have to say wow!. I watched that game to some degree vs Wigan and Man U must have not only one of the worst back 4 in the game, but Im gonna guess the average distance the players ran in the game was about 5 km. What a disgracefull league. Schweini played really well and contrary to Manure fans who say he is not as fast, gosh if youre whole team would actually hustle on defense then u may not notice it so much. What a legend he is!

That was the FA cup though and Wigan do not even play in the PL

Manchester United star Bastian Schweinsteiger's message after being congratulated on 'first Old Trafford goal' [source]

Spotted with wife Ana Ivanovic in Hale on Monday afternoon, he was offered congratulations on his strike in front of the United fans - after previously netting for the club against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

But he smiled and replied: "No, this is my second goal at Old Trafford. My first was for Bayern Munich."
