He wanted to leave and because he's a legend here, the board respected his decision

This. Now this is obviously personal and not just about there being no place for him in the team (which isn't true anyway)

They made it clear to him that he is not wanted but he wanted to stay... I'm not surprised.

If it wasn't for the media, he probably wouldn't be training today... it's probably the media that pushed Mou to let him train with the 1st team. Mou had enough of negative publicity...

He's been back for a week apparently.

He wasn't seen in reserves trainings and they thought that he was banned perhaps... :?

So that's an excuse for making up complete nonsense? :D To report he was completely banned from featuring for any of MU's sides (funny enough, it looks like he may have trained with the reserves but he never actually played for them - at least if you check the reserves games he never actually played), then two days later report that he's back in training with the first team...I mean they should feel like shit, right?

Schweini gets a lot of social media support from MU fans too, that would have more to do with it imo.

Anyway, I'm getting a little sidetracked, it just pisses me off to read some BS "news" every day...as for Schweini, I'm happy things are finally looking a little bit better for him.

I just don't get how it wasn't news that he started 1st team training again... but they had to wait for this fake ban news to come out and announce it? Something stinks... or media really hates Mou.

Opinion from The Bavarians blog:

Manchester United fans need to wake up and see Jose Mourinho’s reintroduction of Bastian Schweinsteiger into the squad as the smoke screen it really is. The Special One has no intention of actually using the German midfielder on the pitch in a meaningful way.

Instead,Mourinho has brought Schweinsteiger back to distract United fans from bigger issues at the club. The most obvious of those issues, is the exclusion of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from involvement with the first team.

Makes sense tbh.

He's back in 1st team training as well...!? If that's not another lie.

Is that Mkhitaryan bottom right?

Spoiler: show
