Wow Vidal seems to be really passionate about Bayern already... Check his official Instagram, almost every post is signed off with "miasanmia!!!" even non Bayern related posts... Good to see!

I am really happy we got this guy. He's a box-to-box midfielder who scores goals and bagged an excellent goal over the weekend. I think he is gonna make a big difference come late in the champions league.

Yeah, I don't get some of the mildly negative comments about him. He's exactly what we needed once Schweini left. He needs to pace himself until March when the big matches will come roaring.

I think Vidal has been fine.... he had a great back heel pass to Muller to set up Lewandowski's first goal today and obviously scored last match

regardless, he's really solidified the midfield (as has the return of Tiago).... I think his presence has really helped Alonso to play at his best and more comfortably and is an upgrade over what Schweinsteiger woulda been had he stayed and played every match next to him

I think he's fitting in well and hopefully he continues to get more comfortable and makes impact plays offensively as well as his constant menacing effort as the season progresses

I'm happy he's at Bayern

Vidal was fine, although I thought he was more effective than the stats showed him to be (actually didn't managed any interceptions and one mere tackle), probably because Wolfsburgs play mostly came down our left, not right.

But his style of play, those driving runs into the box, is something I really, really like. The fluidity it brings to have a player thrust ahead from the midway point to create overloads in the box really help with the style of play Costa and Müller often exhibit in the flanks (sharp, quick cutbacks/crosses).
The ideal team

--------Müller with gloves--------
-Müller--Müller--Müller--Müller--
-------Müller---------Müller-------
----Müller----Müller----Müller----
---------------Müller---------------

I think he still needs - and deserves - a little more time - and I hope he can avoid the yellow card at least SOME of the games he's playing... :P :D

I think he is up for accumulated yellow cards suspension already.

That's what I meant... Then I went and looked it up - and now I don't know whether you were being sarcastic... :D

Transfermarkt claims he only has one so far in Bundelsiga - is that true?
Well, there were certainly a few tackles that deserved a yellow card - probably why I felt that way...
1 in 6 games is actually okay...

My only knock on Vidal is that he isn't the most creative player around the opposition box, he can sometimes be a little slow to react and his touches can be quite heavy. Fortunately he has a high motor and unpredictable nature so he isn't easy to mark.

Ooh, that would suck... We could really use his aggressiveness in that game...

does Vidal have any international duties coming up?

he looked a little hobbled yesterday after taking a spike right to the knee and another slide tackle later on.... he was running around ok, but during stops, he seemed to be favoring and stretching out his legs a little

for a guy who has pretty much not had a break since last summer, it would be nice to see him get a little break and not have to worry about playing games for Chile

Chile won't have to worry about WCQ because they won the Copa America but I'm guessing they will have regular friendlies
