Messi has awared that his "retirement is approaching"

Postby Neymar110 » Wed Dec 04, 2019 7:34 am

After winning the Ballon d'Or for the sixth time, Messi was aware that his "retirement is approaching".

The 32-year-old has now gone past Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo to win the most number of Ballon d'Or awards.
Ronaldo has won it five times while Messi scripted his sixth win.

Lionel Messi's sixth Ballon d'Or win on Monday night has seen Barcelona move ahead of Real Madrid, with the Catalans now having claimed more Golden Balls than any other club.

The Argentine has exactly half of Barca's 12 Ballons d'Or, previously won by Blaugrana greats Luis Suarez (1960) Johan Cruyff (1973 and 1974), Hristo Stoichkov (1994), Rivaldo (1999) and Ronaldinho (2005).

This sixth Golden Ball is not only an individual record, but the confirmation of =D> =D> =D> Messi's ability to settle in excellence over a decade and a half.
Since his debut, at age 17, in the field of Espanyol on October 16, 2004 he has maintained a progression and performance that are unparalleled in football history.
