Thiago played well today. I hope he keeps it up. Throughout the whole game I can't remember a pass going astray or a moment he got dispossessed. I would like to see a double pivot of him and Goretzka or Tolliso, because Martinez is so slow. Coman should be a starter now.

I remember one stray pass but he was on it like a pit bull and got the ball back ASAP, if the club is determined to play possession football he is invaluable with his circulation of the ball.

Truthfully I’m not even sure he’s better than Gnabry as a winger. Been bang average for his career and we’ve just been a bit enamored by a great Pokal match and a decent WC.

I agree for Bayern he is not the right winger, limited potential for a starter but as a substitution he'd be a great signing and right now I think he is better than Muller. With his speed,long shots and work-rate he can be an asset to this team coming from bench mostly.
