Possible DFB Cup opponents for FC Bayern

FC Bayern are in the last 16 of the DFB Cup for the 19th time in succession. Now, fans and club management are eagerly awaiting Sunday when the next round will be drawn live on the ARD Sportschau sports programme (from 18.00 CET). The Reds are obviously hoping for a home game but who will it be against? In addition to the Bundesliga teams, Saarbrücken, SC Verl and FC Kaiserslautern are the two fourth and one third division teams in the Round of 16.

Possible opponents for FC Bayern in DFB Cup Round of 16

Bundesliga: TSG Hoffenheim, Union Berlin, Bayer Leverkusen, Schalke 04, Werder Bremen, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Hertha Berlin

Bundesliga 2: VfB Stuttgart, Karlsruher SC

Third division: FC Kaiserslautern

Regional League: FC Saarbrücken, SC Verl

The result of the draw and all other information on the Round of 16 ties will be available at fcbayern.com in good time on Sunday. The matches will be played in the New Year on Tuesday, 4 February 2020 and Wednesday, 5 February 2020.

In current form? Even Kaiserslautern would be tough...
If we greatly improve...I think Leverkusen, Leipzig and Dortmund would win in their home turf... Munich? Maybe not... I cannot yet see us go far... That might change - but IMHO only depending on how soon we sack the "coach"...

Meh, if we improve I think Leverkusen is a far shout from being a problem and with a new coach I don't think Dortmund should be a problem. Don't forget, Favre is not turning any heads this season.

Withouta coach though? yeah, I agree, we could only go through against non BuLi sides.
