Only Bayern score at the Allianz

Postby FCBayernNews » Fri May 03, 2019 12:15 pm

The Allianz Arena is a true fortress. FC Bayern have won each of their last nine Bundesliga games at home, scoring 30 goals and conceding just two. In fact, the Reds have not conceded a single goal in the last five. Should Niko Kovac’s side manage that again on Saturday against Hannover, it will equal FCB’s Bundesliga record from 1998/99 when they managed six clean sheets in a row at home. The record champions’ run of 515 minutes without conceding at home is currently the longest in the league. fcbayern.com brings you the facts you need to know for matchday 32’s clash with Hannover.

Bayern have won each of their last 12 league meetings with Hannover stretching back to October 2011. They are only on a longer winning run against Bremen (17 games). The overall head-to-head is also in FCB’s favour with 40 victories from the 57 top-flight encounters to date. The record champions have scored 158 times in those games, conceding 54.

This weekend will once again see first place face 18th in the Bundesliga. FC Bayern have won their last 11 home games against sides propping up the table. The last time the Munich club lost to one was in November 2006, against Hannover, when Szabolcs Huszti scored the only goal of the game late in the first half.

Bayern are currently unbeaten in 11 Bundesliga games, collecting 29 of a possible 33 points in that time. All told, the Reds have lost just one of their last 20 league matches (16 wins, three draws) when they were beaten 3-1 in Leverkusen on matchday 20. The record champions have also shown a hunger for goals, especially at the Allianz Arena. FCB have won three of their last four games at the Allianz Arena by at least a five-goal margin, with the only exception the 1-0 win over Bremen.

On the other hand, Hannover ended a nine-match winless run last time out (one draw, eight defeats) with their 1-0 victory over Mainz. Their total of four points from their last two games is as many as in the previous 15 combined. However, Thomas Doll’s side have failed to win any of their last 27 matches away from home (nine draws, 18 defeats).

You missed Glatzel (hat trick) and Schnatterer which makes it 4 goals conceded in the last 3 matches Bayern played at the Allianz Arena
