Dankert takes charge

Postby FCBayernNews » Fri Sep 25, 2015 7:15 pm

Bastian Dankert will referee the Bundesliga fixture away to Mainz on Saturday afternoon. It is the seventh time that the 35-year-old sports scientist from Rostock takes charge of a Bayern match. The Reds have been unbeaten so far with him on the pitch. His assistants will be Markus Häcker and René Rohde, with Guido Winkmann from Kerpen as the fourth official.

Do it again, Lewy!

Robert Lewandowski has shown how it is done, so his namesake Anja had to match him! Or rather, that is what her team-mates at SV Glatten – an amateur Bezirksliga (district league) team from the Black Forest – laughingly expected of their goal-getter. And she did very well! In an amateur cup match away to SV Musbach II the 18-year-old scored four goals within 21 minutes, one day after Robert Lewandowski’s record of five goals in nine minutes! She failed to score a fifth, however, and her team-mates teased her for that. “They wound me up,” she told a local newspaper. Anja Lewandowski, who is not related to the FCB striker, is a fan of the latter, watching her idol in the Allianz Arena on a regular basis.
