Busy day in the performance centre

Postby FCBayernNews » Wed Dec 03, 2014 7:40 pm

It was all systems go at the FC Bayern performance centre on Wednesday even with a first team squad day off. Nearly all the players on the mend - including Philipp Lahm, Claudio Pizarro and Holger Badstuber - completed their physio and/or rehab work. Jérôme Boateng, Rafinha and FCB Reserves keeper Ivan Lucic also put in a shift at the performance centre today. With the thermometers showing an outdoors temperature of a dismal two degrees Celsius there were no volunteers prepared to venture onto the training ground.

14 Bayern players in 'FourFourTwo' rankings

World Cup winners, German champions, DFB Cup holders - FC Bayern players can look back on an eventful and, above all, successful 2014 on and off the pitch. Thanks to the trophy collection and an outstanding first half of the current campaign the FCB squad is enjoying a great reception at home and abroad. The English football magazine FourFourTwo has published its list of the top 100 footballers. With 14 pros in the ranking FC Bayern is the club with the most players on the list. Skipper Philipp Lahm is runner-up to World Footballer of the Year, behind Cristiano Ronaldo but ahead of Lionel Messi in third spot. Manuel Neuer (4th) and Arjen Robben (10th) are the other two Reds in the top ten. The other FCB players are ranked as follows: Thomas Müller (13th), Robert Lewandowski (21st), Bastian Schweinsteiger (22nd), Mario Götze (25th), Franck Ribéry (31st), Jerome Boateng (41st), Xabi Alonso (43rd), David Alaba (46th), Javi Martinez (74th), Dante (77th) and Mehdi Benatia (91st).

Great to hear Lahm is given recognition this 2014 even if it's 2nd place.

Anyone know what place is Kroos?
