These are conspiracies to denounce certain firms that are thriving I think. It's just an opinion, I don't disparage anyone.

TIL about this

From March to May 1998, a terror plot against the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France was uncovered by European law enforcement.[1][2] More than 100 people were arrested in seven countries as a result of the plot.[3] Organised by the Algerian Armed Islamic Group (GIA) and backed by al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, the plot is thought to have targeted the England–Tunisia match on 15 June 1998, and involved infiltrating the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille in order to attack players and spectators during the game, attack the hotel in Paris hosting the United States national team, and finally hijacking an aircraft and crashing it into the Civaux Nuclear Power

We had a player in 2007 called Louis Ngwat-Mahop, who is now 32 years old. In May 2007 he made his Bundesliga debut for Bayern. A month later this happened:

On 29 June 2007, just before Bayern's Asian tour in Hong-Kong, Ngwat-Mahop found out that he had lost his French passport and started the procedure to get a new one, so he could follow his team in the tour. Upon his request, French authorities found out that Ngwat-Mahop's passport had the same number as that of a woman residing in Paris.[16] After the Bayern Munich officials were informed of the passport issue they decided to terminate his contract.[16] After that Ngwat-Mahop started travelling in France and Germany with the German police in his pursuit.[16] Meanwhile, 1. FC Saarbrücken, having just been relegated from Regionalliga Süd, sued Bayern for an alleged 1 million € losses due to its relegation.[17] 1. FC Saarbrücken asked FC Bayern Munich II to lose every game that Ngwat-Mahop was included.[17] This would result in Bayern's II relegation instead of Saarbrücken.[17] Saarbrücken finally lost the case in court,[17] a case called ridiculous by Bayern's president Uli Hoeneß.[18] [source]

At my German language meeting today (online of course) I learnt that it’s Umgangssprache, not “Ungarnsprache”. Always wondered what Hungary had to do with German slang words
