Life after COVID and softened measures still will be life that is no longer what it used to be 2-3 months ago.

My dad and few years younger colleague have started to work this Monday after 5-6 weeks of break because they are in 50's, they are the oldest workers and the boss spared them risks of infection.
He works outside of the firm in many other firms where they must install garage doors and other things and guess what? They aren't allowed to move, to use their restrooms, no cafés or restaurants inisde and around the city don't work, where can they go to piss and shit? :D You can piss somewhere, but shit...

County and city authorities want to open cafés, bars and restaurants in forthcoming weeks and months and they demand distance of 2m each table by putting people in some chambers that would look like sections or small private dinning rooms inside and outside of objects.

A 100-year-old World War II veteran has died of the new coronavirus a century after his twin brother was killed in the 1918-19 Spanish flu pandemic, US media reports said.

It will never be the same, I think. Some things will never be back. Trivial things, mostly, but culture changes anyway. For instance, I wouldn’t be surprised if handshakes become a thing of the past.

Hopefully cause I hate the shaking of hands..

One thing for sure is that most probably press conferences will be attended via video link....
And also the Political ones involving all that traveling to Brussels,Strasbourg and back (something which Dr Fearne said recently)
Imagine how many air transport is avoided...
Even a relative of mine, She travels a lot cause she works for the Central Bank...sometimes even for less than 24hrs...
It doesn't make sense at all...

I don’t think in-person meetings for institutions of such importance should be eliminated but they can certainly be reduced.

I have nothing against handshaking, but we could return to Roman salute.

Spoiler: show
Image

I often used to do this as a little kid and then years and years later I saw in Ben Hur movie that Roman soldiers and legions used to salute like this, fist in the chest. :)

I mean, everyone who went once in theater knows that the same salute and gratitude to public is used by actors once the show is over, only they also take a bow although sometimes some actors decide to hold hands together and do it together.

Now these unlucky Asians, they also don't handshake but take a slight bow and many MMA disciplines.
It's familiar in ex-YU countries, but it's more in traffic and on streets from distance, a fast hitch.

It's time that historians remind us of all those forgotten salutes 2000-3000-4000 thousand years old. :D

I've started joking with that salute I posted. Even this one it could work.
