Two Scan employees got infected and the Co decided to close (I don't know why they were still operating as they are not essential)

One of the comments I saw was, that Churchill had said that Germany must be bombed every fifty years.... and continued that he was right ....

My note. During these crisis we saw a lot of positives but now we are also seeing a lot of negatives... certain things are surfacing ...

Look, I don’t necessarily agree with the article... But time and again you criticize what YOU call mainstream media, for being unanimous and producing mishmash... And then, once they produce controversy, it’s wrong again

My opinion: Italy should be helped... We don’t need bonds for that... The package discussed yesterday is more than enough...

Just to make it clear, the demands for eurobonds have little to do with "European solidarity". For eurobonds by definition are only a means for members of the eurozone, which in turn means that the eight countries not belonging to the eurozone don't benefit from this "solidarity". (The same applies to using the ESM instead, of course.)

This entire discussion has nothing to do with solidarity, and everything with keeping the eurozone from breaking apart. Because if this happens, we (Germany) are fucked. 935 bn in Bundesbank target2 debt claims are at stake, not to mention other possible damages. So whether we like it or not, we have to help Italy. The question isn't if we help, but how, and the debate about eurobonds vs ESM is about whether or not to abolish the no bail out-clause through the back-door. The hymns about solidarity are just window-dressing.

The only way to deal with the problems that can claim to be a way of European solidarity is by means of the European investment bank, which would make help available for ALL EU countries, not just the eurozone countries.

Might be getting confused here but if I’m bot mistaken Beckham also has property in Sliema/St Julian’s and visits from time to time.

Not sure, but Scholes Ferguson and the other Nevill have for sure apart from Giggs.

Re Jaimie's Maltese ancestry I learned about it some years back
