In Europe only Russia Ukraine and Turkey are playing.
One game in which I am interested in is the final game in India,in which the former Maltese capt is playing his final match before retiring.

Something which was said yesterday here & will start in our and 1 more municipality from tomorrow - there are going to be hot phones for orders of essential food and medicines - we hope that they will be active from tomorrow. The service will support elderly, single and sick people who are unable to go out and relatives who can help them. The plan is to make it work all over the country.

I said to my grandmothers that I can't see them in the next at least 2 months, sadly they are not in my municipality, and they will have to wait probably another week before the service starts in their district.

I'm sure many of you are in constant contact with your parents and grandparents, but please guys, explain to them how they should protect themselves from the virus because it's different when they hear that from you. Just say that you love them, let's at least make their days a little more bearable in this different situation for all of us.

They played without the fans.
Apparently they played the last two games, some kind of finals.

As for the game involving the Maltese player, they lost and therefore lost the championship

Two people have been fined €1,000 each after being found breaking mandatory quarantine orders, the Ministry of Home Affairs said on Saturday.

It also reported that a man was forcibly taken off a Gozo ferry on Saturday afternoon after ignoring orders not to board when he was found to be running a temperature. [source]

Two out of 90 is worryingly high.

Came to post it.

Deport the sob as,soon as he recovers (as he has a temperature)
100% he will as the PM already said it... those foreigners who breach the quarantine law will be deported.

I don’t think he’s breaching quarantine though, no? Unless it turns out he was also doing that later. He was tested with thermal temperature sensors and they found he has a fever. It’s the other two who breached quarantine rules.

aterford wrote:It's been an interesting experience over here to say the least. I won't claim to be the most well-informed, but I have been paying attention to the situation (or at least keeping a close eye) for longer than most around here, it seems. Nobody really paid it much mind until about Wednesday, then everything just kind of went crazy. In my state, for example, we have a population of well over 10,000,000 but only less than 50 confirmed cases as of yet. Of course the actual number is probably much higher, but it's been pretty wild to watch.
Even my little town - it is fairly isolated, not really on major trade routes nor a direct connect by train, bus, etc to bigger cities - zero cases yet, but we are definitely on edge.
Everyone has been hoarding bathroom tissue, that's been the biggest thing so far. Pretty odd to see. As it would be, we were running low, so I went out to Sam's Club (big membership/warehouse store like Costco if you're not familiar.) to get a pack. Every single cart I saw had at least one package of TP going out, I talked to one of the employees and said they sold 10 pallets full in just five minutes. They sold today alone two FULL semi trailers full of toilet paper. My town isn't even that big and it's going mental over here.
As it stands, all the schools have been shut down, as well as casinos and pretty much any sporting event/gathering of more than 300 people or so. I work IT at a local university and we - like everyone else - will be moving to online-only classes for at least the next few weeks. I also play guitar or bass fairly often for our church, and even there we will not be meeting this weekend, just video taping a sermon for others to listen to from their homes.

That being said, it does seem a little bit crazy at the moment, but if it works well, then of course it will be worth it. The feeling I get is that over here in the states (and many other countries) is that we are really just now at the beginning of this whole thing. The scary thing I have been hearing many say is that they believe the States right now are entering into where Italy was at about a week ago, which of course has just exploded in a bad way.

All that to say I still must admit I am feeling fairly fortunate at the moment. I know it is certainly a lot worse for many people. Things don't feel too scary just yet and I'm lucky to have a job where I can still work with reasonable safety (and job security). Like above, I do think it seems like we're closer to the beginning of things than the end and perhaps this will be the 'new normal' for the foreseeable future, but I do think it's the right reaction for the time being, anyways. Anyways, just a small update from what seems like (at the moment) a relatively safe position in the US. Stay safe out there, everyone.
Dunno if you’re familiar with the reasoning behind it, but yes, it definitely is!

The lockdown will only come into force if the virus will be transmitted between locals.

Sorry but again had we stopped all planes we would have no cases.

One of the ones that tested positive went to Univ with symptoms.

So hell will break lose and lockdown will soon come into force
So?

You would've had it sooner or later most likely... Or do you want to close up forever?
Even traditionally hermetically closed states have it!
