Now the authorities are hiding all the info that they were giving before...

There is an outbreak in centre that houses the illegal/economic migrants....

And they are hiding it... you may ask why so?

Cause the Maltese cowboys (Building contractors) are still at business as usual and since these cowboys use these people as their slaves. Therefore in order not to halt these Cowboys they are not divulging the info.

Bullshit...
1.) who made you expert again? I‘m not saying economic migration is not a thing, I am doubting YOUR competence in judgement - let aside the fact that it is a general assumption and condemnation by someone who would be the poor victim crybaby if by the same generalizations he would be called a Nazi
2.) dunno about Malta, but we have these problems as well - what to do? You cannot isolate them efficiently?
3.) How would you know? Let me guess: dubious sources? Heard it from a friend's friend's in-laws?
4.) aren’t you on lockdown?

3. Three journalists asked the Prof Gauci the Superintendent of public health.

Call me whatever you want

If you read my post carefully nowhere I did say anything against those living in the open centre.

We are in a quasi lockdown... but apparently those living in there are not...
God knows how many of them have been carrying the virus without knowing
As I said they mostly work in the Building industry , an industry that was not affected by the covid.

It seems likely that it is true, but I believe the reason they are hiding it is to avoid racist sentiments. After all, the number of infected Maltese far outnumbers them.

We are on semi-lockdown. Most places have been ordered to shut down but other than people at risk we can still go out as we please in groups of 3 or fewer. Most people still aren’t, as it should be. Our official advice is to avoid meeting people who do not live in the same house.

Reliable information is the biggest weapon against virus

One of the biggest struggles is convincing people to stay indoors

Doesn't mean be cannot be a reliable source in other fields...

Reliable and legit information us always a great weapon... Always!

Hence why some if the outlets you prefer try to undermine others... Like by calling them "mainstream media" or "propagandist"

Hal Far open centre is closed for 14 days ...
Quarantine....

Hope they do not rebel and burn the place

Edit. There are 1000 souls in there

The Govt did not divulge the decision before 18.00 today so that all residents will go back to the place. Otherwise many would have refrained from going back

That’s quite well thought out but unfortunately 1000 people quarantined in that small space still means it will spread I think, even if the infected are isolated.

TOM are not allowing comments for this news...USSRtom

But what can they do?

They mentioned the cowboys I mentioned earlier on ... Hopefully the authorities put men outside the place so that contractors do not approach the Residents to go for work

The first case. Got it from inside as he was on sick leave as he was nursing an injury.
Therefore the one who passed it to him had no symptoms!

Problem is that they have infected other workers and those who work in the Centre
