Germany is vetoing aid from the eu, why?
& pls do not mention the fact that your govt brought in some patients from italy and france.. how many again? some fifty or even less

The E.U will crumble very soon.... the eu is there to thicken the pockets of the bureaucrats that run it and not for the Citizens of Europe...

Erm no... EU aid is taken care of... We're vetoing a grand-scheme debt cancellation! Pre-crisis finances are not to be corrected instrumentalizing sick and dead people... That’s Erdogan level

While I feel for Italy, one should mention that they shit on this outbreak bigtime while we are in a slightly better situation because of much more intensive, large-scale testing which also costs manpower and materials that no one is accounting for...

Italy needs to be helped in this crisis, out of the question - but the years of mismanagement before this crisis are not to be eliminated in the wake of it!

Also, it‘s great that - including you - it's always those who cry for solidarity that usually dump a pile of shit on it, Mr. "Close all borders, keep it out of Malta"... Poland is eliminating democracy right now, where's your take on that?
Where was it, when you cheered the Italians for letting people drown at their very doorstep? Methinks you’re selective in your approach, but I will not use the h-word yet again

Ramsej logic:

- Malta democratically excercises its veto right on some European issue in the Council of the European Union:
Ramsej: finally, someone had to stand against this EU dictatorship and say fuck you to those burocrats

- Any other country democratically excercises its veto right in the Council of the European Union:
Ramsej: the EU regime is on the verge of collapse!!!! people are awakening and witnessing how the EU is just a dictatorship!!!

Tuscany bayern you must be one of the handful of italians who still have faith in the eu.
Or else you might be one who works for them...

Look, I‘ll try to be civil here: are you a dumbass?
And yes, I know it’s a rhetorical question...

For FUCK'S sakes, aren’t you married? I mean isn’t your wife tired of wiping your ass every day, putting out clothes for you and putting band-aids on your boo boos?
Because, apparently, you always need someone else to be responsible (and to blame) instead of being mature and taking some responsibility for yourself?
YOU of all the fucking people in the world? Who is the most nationalist prick I ever met online outside of Facebook... You DARE demand other nations' help for anyone? And you REALLY are not clever enough to see the hypocrisy?

Now to get back on track: the EU is not Italy‘s babysitter... Italy chose ACTIVELY to help spread this shit all over Europe for a few bucks from tourism... Nonetheless they aren’t left alone... They will get ESM money... Why the fuck is that not enough? Will you be held responsible if MUTU can't make his mortgage payments?? Not? Oh how very unfair, Malta doesn’t work as a nation!

I would really appreciate it, if you could react to some arguments... You asked, I answered, instead of reacting to it all you did was spew agitated shit yet again... Disrespectful is actually a compliment for the conduct you deem appropriate for a discussion...

I am not saying that italy does not has its own faults... as in the way they run hospitals, the complacent attitude towards the Virus..., the way they run the general things in their country etc.

But People are dying in thousands like dogs... alone away from their loved ones and are not even being given a proper burial.

So where is the compassion?
Why is all Europe does , is to think about the economy?

Italy and Spain need a lot of support...
Money, protective equipment, on field expertise, medical equipment...

You blame Europe, while Italy - and others - want these bonds... As I said, one sided... We sent millions of masks... We're treating "only a few" as you said in our hospitals... You know this is our healthcare system and it’s not free either? I mean you must know since you rooted for GB to pimp theirs (hint:NOT)...
And that’s okay... It’s not about money... But this crisis will be over at some point and we already have generations to come paying for it, despite being free of new debt for many years... They haven’t... How is it okay we should now carry their burden as well - and pay up - if they won’t make payment in the future? ESM guarantees them good interest rates on their loans... But they’re not our loans and not ours to redeem!

And again, you weren’t crying for compassion when we took in a million of people who were in a bad situation... Actually, you demanded - and are still demanding - our chancellor's head for it...

'COVID-19 almost killed me', says Maltese virus survivor

Matthias Kentzia, 27, says he almost died in a Spanish hospital

COVID-19

A 27-year-old Maltese man - who spent two weeks in a Spanish hospital fighting COVID-19 - has given a harrowing account of his experience.

Matthias Kentzia from St Julian's - who lists project management as his profession on Facebook - posted a harrowing account of his ordeal to his followers.

"This is not the time to be selfish. This is the time to make sacrifices for the greater good. I know that staying at home is not easy. But trust me, lying in bed gasping for air is harder." said Matthias, who also suffered from bilateral pneumonia during his time in hospital, which, he said, almost killed him.

"I led a healthy, active lifestyle, and have no pre-existing conditions. COVID-19 rendered me near paralysed with fever and needing 24/7 oxygen support. I am not invincible. You are not invincible. The people around you are not invincible. We are all vulnerable."

Matthais is urging people to appreciate the work healthcare workers are doing and not put them at any further risk.

"Health care systems around the world are struggling to keep up and some are collapsing entirely. Thousands are dying each day and we may still be far from the worst of it. The dedication and sacrifice of the health care workers on the front lines are indescribable. Many are also falling ill and even dying in their attempts to save the rest of us. They deserve all of our respect and SUPPORT. So please, listen to the professionals. Stay home, isolate, and wash your hands. This is the best way to inhibit the spread of the virus, the best way to reduce the load on the hospitals, and our best chance at saving as many lives
