Good for you!

Even as a privileged group (still tier 3 with schools about to be wide open again soon ) I would be surprised to have a shot (pun intended) before March...

My area's prioritization is kind of weird IMO. I mean, I'm not going to say no, but I'm young and relatively healthy and in a job that isn't particularly public-facing....But somehow I find myself ahead of many senior citizens in the pecking order, hahaha. Seems kind of weird to me - given that we know the virus is generally more severe in the elderly (and it seems like the vaccine is not thought to prevent transmission? Or at least is unclear - it's main benefit is preventing symptoms/serious infection) - but like I said, I won't complain...

Maybe I’ll pull off a typical Maltese move and speak to a few people, haha. I’m very good friends with the health minister’s nephew. Said nephew doesn’t even vote for the health minister or his party though, lmao
Hiiii ....

P.S what are your thoughts about the mut strike?
Imo they are on the right side ...

I saw this on tom
In a statement later, the MUT said it was informed that state school principals were ordered by the Education Ministry not to obey the strike action. It condemned such behaviour.

It said it was also informed that some educators were also being intimidated.

Dude you should know by now how these people work...

There is NO death case on record that is vaccine invoked!
Correlation is not causation...
I.e.: the vaccine is not Ambrosia! You can still die from natural causes (and AFAIK it was an elderly woman?)

And if it WERE:

There’s like thousands of people dying every day from the virus... And people play it down by saying it's not deadly and only killing people with conditions (irreverent)...
How would one death in far over a million vaccinations be worse?

Well, for starters, this site strikes me as maybe being not completely "impartial"
Are there other sources...

As I understand it though, authorities are now looking into it and if it DOES have anything to it, they will surely publish their findings soon...

The Croatian president and some of the ministers received their Pfizer vaccine live in front of the cameras.

I find this sort of thing quite funny, because technically you can’t really tell what they were given. If anyone is doubting, they won’t be convinced by that.

Here they’re doing the same thing. There are doctors who still haven’t been vaccinated because they’d rather give it to some Minister’s wife to show off instead.

Even with priority lists: I think those who reject their immediate offer, should not be convinced... Hive their doses to those that want them...

To put you in the picture on how certain groups in the Maltese society think...

Elderly who think that the Vaccine is the making of their Party in Power....
The so called Labour party

These ppl are given the right to choose who to Govern...

That is why the Right to vote shouldn't be for everyone...

Democracy my foot...

Tests re how one is aware of what is happening around him/her and around the world , general knowledge, some form of intelligence etc should be the requirements for one to get the chance to vote for every election.
