Of course it's very serious for you Maltese with that population number. It's not that you have 2 million people. Even if you had, the same reaction would be just like here 3-4 months ago.

In Slovenia today 745 cases!!

By the way, the country has less than 2,1 million inhabitants while Croatia around 3,9 million and my country is way bigger than Slovenia. It's horrible for a country like Slovenia. When you have 2 million people less and numbers of infected practically the same as Croatian... :| From our eyes it's messed up.

Europe's black hole Bosnia and Herzegovina with 3,3 million people 569 cases.

2-3 days ago I watched news on TV where there was a report how Fatima, Lourdes and other Catholic apparition places are totally empty, 90% less traffic when 70% of pilgrims in Portugal are foreigners.

In Croatia, cafés and bars have just got a state order this week that their tables and chairs must be very distanced and visitors/customers must wear masks all the time.
No more sitting, drinking and socializing without wearing masks. There will be hired/employed corona security/staff/patrols to monitor public places, especially the mentioned ones and see who violates the new rules.

122 new cases for Malta... we broke the record again..

We also broke the record for the 3rd straight day with extreme numbers. Today 1131 new cases and in my county 123 cases. It's getting rapidly worse day after day.

Of those 123, just 51 in my city. That wasn't the case I'm the last 7 months. :?

In the match thread I mentioned the fact that the stadium was nearly full and that the physiotherapists were without masks.

Now I have just heard that the numbers in Russia have increased, 26K died and that masks were made obligatory

Hear hear...

It has been confirmed: it was opening the airports to tourists which led to Europe's second wave.

A coronavirus variant that originated in Spanish farm workers has spread rapidly through much of Europe since the summer, and now accounts for the majority of new Covid-19 cases in several countries, including 80% in the UK, the Financial Times (paywall) reports.

An international team of scientists that has been tracking the virus through its genetic mutations described the extraordinary spread of the variant, called 20A.EU1, in a research paper to be published on Thursday.

Their work suggests that people returning from holiday in Spain played a key role in transmitting the virus across Europe, raising questions about whether the second wave that is sweeping the continent could have been reduced by improved screening at airports and other transport hubs.

Of course it is....

Instead of having a swab 48Hrs before boarding a flight ....

The E.u is responsible for all the deaths that happened since July.

They are part of the project to eliminate the elderly ...
