Berlin halts 'anti-corona' rally as European cities protest masks

Demonstrators protest against masks and coronavirus curbs

You tell me... Largely influenced by RWs wanting to overthrow the "socialist dictatorship of Merkel"
I am not sure that you are right on this one...
A mixed crowd for sure.

I criticised her a lot and still believe that she acted irresponsibly on the migrants matter ... however one has to be totally insane to call her out on this issue.
From outside I have the impression that she really handled this pandemic very well.
Am not aware of any help if any given to both employees and employers ... or about redundancies... what I know is that the numbers were kept as low as possible.

I am sure that you are wrong on this one.

I think if you'd ask anyone in that Berlin crowd why are they protesting, 45% would answer "5G is bad for health, no vax, Bill Gates, this is a hoax" and 50% would answer "covid is a mean used by the government to enslave us, it is just a mild flu, they are using it to distract us from immigration and economic failure of the Euro"
Sorry , what I am seeing in those vids are lgbtiq+ , hippie, strange looking ppl , and so on.

Lol

And that journalist, mentioning rw xeno and all wtf?- did she see the sweet rainbow flag ? So ridiculous...
Ever heard of concepts like... I dunno... Framing?

Definitely, but contrary to popular belief, these views aren’t limited to the right. Unfortunately I know plenty of people who aren’t right wing by any measure who believe such conspiracies.
Yup... Nonetheless, they are spread by those people and used to instrumentalize your acquaintances...

I don't think that this is a right wing thing and action, but it has surpassed all political differences.

In my country people from all political and religous spectrums have so many different views and opinions, from all kind of extremes, "not being dangerous, just a glut, illuminati thing, rich getting more rich to very dangerous thing, total lockdown again, stupid irresponsible people who think this all can't hurt them at all to those who are somewhere in the middle, nano chips are nonsense, how can the Catholic Church be so passive and obey to state rules and measures regarding COVID", etc.

I'm actually surprised that the protest is in Germany and not in southern European countries.

Thing is, nobody can do anything about the virus no matter what someone wants to prove. Either you can solve the pandemic through medicine, healing and medications or not. Everything else is just different approaches as it's been the case with Sweden and Belarus and the rest of the world.

Haha over here we have people complaining and doctors protesting over lack of measures, not because of them.

It's called prevention paradox.

Our whole situation looks ridiculous. People no longer take our crisis leaders for something serious anymore like it was the case at first during March, April and May when they were almost like heroes among many except those conspiracy theorists and those who think it's all one big nothing.

So many foreign countries have put us on the red list over the last 15-20 days and it's no longer as it used to be safe, Slovenians have started to return home immediately as the government called them to leave their estates, apartments and homes in Croatia.

Remain patient and serious is obviously hard especially for the population aged 16-45, but well...

We don't know how many people will die because of this virus, but what I do know is that everything else is about to look dead(economy, business, states, people's standard...). The damage is already very giant even if we young people and children get infected and survive.

Where’s the connection?
There’s nothing whatsoever related in that post... I wasn’t judging, I wasn’t insulting, I was merely pointing out where I would place them, much like I would place, say St. Pauli fans on the left... Now tell me, where exactly would that lead to us clashing?

Either way, I think we can all agree those protesters are not exactly the brightest among us...
