In Croatia today just 1 new infected person. First time ever since the first case on February 24th. :)

Yesterday we had 8, two days ago 6, three days ago 11, four days ago 9, five days ago 11, six days ago 15, seven days ago 36.

So it's great to see all this after we have had removed a lot of restrictions in the last 3 weeks and moving further more of them next week. The main source of infection in the last 5 days was coming outside of Croatia, not from inside.

I knew that we were going to experience a spike in cases as we opened a lot of shops. .

But is getting worrying now.

Not yet, but it might become soon.

Apparently they’re still planning to reopen restaurants on the 25th instead of adapting to the latest developments.

Slovenia has announced yesterday the end of the COVID pandemic and it is the first European country with that status.

In Croatia yesterday 1 new case, today 2 cases. Can't wait for mid-July to see how things are going to stand in my country and in the meantime will anything change on worse in the next 2-3 weeks with all those removed restrictions.

Maybe in one month if numbers remain constantly remain maximum 10 or less, with no new island of Brač explosions and imported cases from abroad from Croats and other foreigners, we could be free.

In the end, this whole thing will pass somehow. But Bundesliga seems to be among the winners of the post-pandemic (post-wave-one?) situation.

Italy wants to resume Serie A in mid-June, EPL thinks about 6 July, today UEFA said "Champions League and Europa League will have a winner this season", but just look at the number of TV stations for tomorrow's match against Union Berlin:

I am pretty sure more and more bookmakers are getting the streaming rights. Things are looking pretty good, sooner than I anticipated.

For a moment I thought this was a joke. This is Malta's prime minister.

“Instead of scaremongering people with the second wave, the best thing people can do is go to the beach and follow social distancing guidelines,” he said.

As things stand, there is no reason to keep establishments closed. If there was any reason to do so, I would have chosen people’s health over and above everything, Abela added.

“Why should we "punish" people and keep them locked indoors when scientific and medical evidence is showing us that we don’t need to do this? Why are we scared about people who went for a walk, or to the beach?”
