His argument is abductive. He argues that because every "language" (as he calls it) we know originates from a mind, then all must necessarily do so. That might be true 99% of the time, but you cannot conclusively say without doubt that it is true 100% of the time.
He is saying that God must exist because it is impossible for this language to have originated without a mind, so he claims that God created it. But then, where does God come from?
The argument goes both ways. I have used it many times against atheists who refuse the existence of God simply because they think it is impossible for anything to have existed without origin. The truth is that no matter what your belief is, no matter how theistic or atheistic, there has to be one entity that has always existed. Now that could be God, but it could also be information without origin, or a pre-Big Bang universe. You can't argue that God exists because everything else must have an origin, and neither can you argue that God doesn't exist because nothing can be without origin.
