FYI the ankle doesn't have "a" ligament. There are thousands of ligament fibers attached to the tendons. When someone 'tears them', it is very difficult to know the length of the injury because it depends on how many of them have been teared (partial ligament tear) or all (full ligaments.)

It is also very difficult to tell right after the injury because the only way to know if they are no longer attached to the tendon (teared) is by stressing the ankle all the way which, right after the injury, is extremely painful. You need to wait for the ankle to reduce the swelling. This is not done via MRI but regular x-rays.

Thiago will probably need to immobilize his ankle via a protective boot as it sounds like a few fibers were compromised.

I assume MUTU was being sarcastic.

With Thiago's history with ligament tears, I'm not sure it's wise to rush him back into action on the shortest possible notice.

I'm more worried by our doctors' predictions and treatment methods rather than Thiago's body. If they told him 1 month it means he will probably play again this season. Had it been 3 months I would have said see you next season.

Agreed - however, we need him desperately...

Let’s be 100% honest here:

We are now in the situation the board told us would never arise... I myself have criticized us signing a central midfielder every window... But as it stands we could really use one more...
Everyone knew it, but they’re gonna cook up some shit to tell us how it was right nonetheless...

German referees simply suck! Too much physicality allowed against Bayern players. It’s gett worse than the EPL where the referees allow leg breaking lunges in the name of “competitiveness” and “50/50 challenges”

That should’ve been a straight red to the thug from the 4th division.

That kind of needless tackle from a trash player from the fourth division against Real Madrid would’ve been a straight red in Spain!
