"Lewandowski doesn't need Bayern's money"!!!!
177k every 4 years is 45k per year. That IS nothing for a guy like Lewy.

So indeed...

I am not blaming the Polish association or coach as they want to do their job as they have duties ... but they could have managed him better...
I would have sent him in only if necessary also to preserve him vs England

Previous coaches, knowing how overworked he is, were resting him on friendlies, taking him off where applicable - for the sake of the team, his career but also as what seemed like gestures towards the club. They could just as well have said that it's necessary to play every time all the time to gel the team together etc etc

It was good, it worked, but here comes the pompous ass with a "system", that has to be taught immediately, at all cost, in the qualifying games no less. The fact that similar thing was tried in the past and failed in a spectacular way is of no importance to the PA.

The team suffers vs Andora, Lewandowski gets injured vs a half amateur team, who knew? Then the team suffers immensely vs England, our PA switches to sth resembling the old thing mid match and hey, it works. Who knew though. Clueless Brzęczek would just send the players to figure it out in real time, and we would be 2 wins and a draw, instead of 1 1 1.

Not to mention, on this level and calendar, resting Lewy vs Andora would also significantly reduce chances of injury further down the road. Maybe not aware of that either, has to try first.
It's time to deut the Raum

AFAIK this is UEFA/FIFA who pays part of the salaries, as this is UEFA/FIFA who earns on interational matches.
Then some clubs can afford insurance, can't you?
And you might go for less injury-prone players:
Go for Boatengs, Comans, Hernándezes, Neuers, Robbens, Sanés, Thiagos and Tolissos of football world. Or go cheap for Wagners and ÉCMs.

Lahmies wrote:"Lewandowski doesn't need Bayern's money"!
He doesn't, as there were others wanting to pay him even more.

Count separately and add Euro quali, WC quali, Euro finals, WC finals, ...

BTW how are DFB bonuses? I doubt Chelsea should allow Werner to go as he is so useless for Die Mannschaft.

Lol at you even trying to argue this point. International football is monetarily inconsequential for these guys. Also, wish the DFB would just outright ban players from Chelski. Fvck them.

Lol, Lewandowski makes as much money per month whilst on the toilet shitting from Bayern's salary as he does should Poland qualify for a tournament.
