Have you somehow been keeping this on draft for this long? Damn, that must have taken some time to assemble! xDMUTU wrote:Firefox1234 wrote:Fortunately he will be back mid season at the least but I would have preferred him to be in the squad for the PSG fixtures....

They are saying that if he needs an op it will take roughly 8 wks, meaning that he can be back by the end of Nov.
If that is the case Imo he should only start in the second round... there is no need to risk him again for max five games.

Here we go... "at the earliest" now.
Expect Manu to come back in late February.

If this is correct it will only be in March when he will be back to guard our goal

Yeah, right
Yeah, rightAmerica USA wrote:Transfermarkt now says that Manuel will be back on April 19. That sounds about right and as I had predicted that he would be back somewhere in mid/late April.
If Neuer can join team training after the Pokal Semifinal by April 20 then there is an outside chance that he could play for Bayern in the (potential) CL SF second leg and surely by the (potential) Final.

Maybe he can play some part in the match against Hannover 96 on 21st April?
I'm dying to see him back.

PS: I'd add that Bild wrote an article saying that if they decide to go for surgery he would be out "for at least 8 weeks". What pisses me off most was Kalle in late November giving us some hope of Manu being back in mid January. How irresponsible was that?

Was thinking the same thing... I've ridiculed HWMW myself lately... But: he USED to do a decent job and he was NOT the one delaying the surgery... He’s the one supposed to clean this shot up now... Also, he's not a surgeon...
Well, finding the absolute truth is almost impossible, but a good approximation can be gotten by appointing a special audit committee with independent expert council, which I think should definitely be done, even if it hurt HWMW's ego.aterford wrote:#12 wrote:MUTU wrote:What a beautiful collection, thank you for the time you put into this! There is probably some truth to both. As noted, by all accounts the surgeon who worked on Neuer after his second (or was it third or fourth?) setback was one of HWMW's choosing.
I suspect, as with many things...there's a bit of blame on both sides. That's the trouble with these medical issues. On one hand, there's no way to conclusively say "if we didn't have HWMW our players would heal up faster." On the other, we also can't really conclusively say "if HWMW were here, Neuer would be back by now". So it goes.
