I think Manuel will never return at this rate. He needs to see some other doctors or just retire.

My mom often told/tells me that a wife can be either very lucky or unlucky for her husband. For Manuel this lady Weiss so far seems to be falling in the latter category.

I don’t believe in this superstition but it’s looking more and more legit now.

He didn't deserve any of this. I mean even the goal was fuckin' offside... He got injured for literally no reason.

The problem is probably that he has. Ulreich was really poor under Ancelotti, so much so that it was being considered that Fruechtl was to start instead. Next season the coach will be Kovac. It remains to be seen whether, when Ulreich's services are called upon, we'd get Ancelotti's Ulreich or Heynckes' Ulreich.

I think Ulreich has done much better than anyone hoped for. Yet I think Bayern can and should aim higher. I haven't seen much of Fruchtl to talk about him. But the Neuer situation is becoming a key issue for team development.

I don't think that can purely be attributed to the Heynckes effect. Ulreich had not played for a long time, thus he had to get his rhythm going.

Maybe YOU don't think that, as you are writing. But Ulreich himself does.
He said so in an interview. [source]

Edit: I just saw the word "purely" in your post which I had previously missed. Still, I think the Heynckes effect was the big majority of the reason for his form.

The game against Köln comes too early for Manuel Neuer. Heynckes says, "We'll have a look next week." [Kicker]

One month and a half before the World Cup. He needs at least 4-5 games before to be sure.
