I'm not a very big fan of Coman, because though he's taken massive strides this season, his decision making still has lots of room to improve, however he clearly brought an injection of pace into this team.

You look around Europe and compare our likely first XI now and in terms of pace there is a pedestrian feel to the team. City, PSG, Madrid, Barca, Liverpool, even Manu can readily turn 1-0 into a 2,3 goal lead in the blink of an eye. That is not going to happen for Bayern now.

That’s a big swipe at our CL hopes. The kid has made himself a key player for us, and our performances improve a lot when he’s on the pitch.

I really hope Jupp doesn’t go for the obvious and start Ribery in his place for the rest of the season. It’s time to think outside the box and make use of the whole bunch of midfielders we have at our disposal.
