Bit of oldish news but during the match against Mainz, Martinez suffered a concussion and loss of memory. Sammer: "Javi had a couple of gaps in memory after the match in Mainz. But now it's okay. He needs to rest about 48 hours."
The concussion meant he could not fully take part in the festivities and celebrations of winning the Bundesliga last Tuesday. [source]

Memory loss is the weirdest injury I have heard that prevents the player from playing on the day
It it a common problem with Javi? Or a temporary one because of the (seemingly bad) concussion? He did seems happy during the celebration though
