MUTU wrote:Whaaat? How can you not remember that incident with Brazzo? We were playing Milan and there was a challenge and Brazzo and Gattuso both ended on the floor (Gattuso tackled Brazzo IIRC). Then Gattuso put his hand on Brazzo's head, patting him and smiling. Brazzo is smiling back at him. Then, while still smiling and patting, with his hand on the side of the head where the ref cannot see, he grabs hold of Brazzo's hair and starts pulling it, while still faking a friendly smile. He tried provoking Brazzo into hitting him back and getting carded. Poor Brazzo was smiling and you can see his face turn into horror.
There is suspicion that he pulled the same exact trick on Ballack during World Cup 2006. Ballack turned from smile to screaming while getting patted on the head by Gattuso but they never showed an alternate angle view of the incident so there is no evidence that there was any pulling, unlike with Brazzo where it was very clearly shown.
I never saw a bigger asshole dirty trick than that. Needless to say, he got away with both incidents without even getting a talking to by the ref.
