Sunburn.
I feel like someone set my back on fire and the fire is still going...

Call me ignorant, but I didn't know people of darker complexion could get sunburn!

Then again I never sunbathe myself, so I don't know the first thing about tanning. Except for the trucker's tan, of course.

If you remember the picture of me ( the one where you chimed in with the whole "Learn2Windsor" thing), you'd remember that I'm a cracker.
And yes, my dad, who is not exactly black but is definitely a dark complexion (somewhere between brown and dark brown) got some visible burning, but not exactly as much as his less melanin-concentrated skinned counterparts.
(Mind you, he did have no sun protection on)

Anyway, I wanted to build up to laughing at you failing despite having a genetic advantage, but I guess that fell flat. I guess I'm just left with laughing at a lovely sunburnt fella.

Cut my finger on a blender. Had to go to hospital to get it sown together.
I cut it whilst cleaning it.
I was using it whilst baking cookies.
With my mother.
I'm not kidding.

Haha I'm fine. Having a shower and a bath are frustrating, and I need to keep my hand to my chest at all times to stop the blood pooling in it, but it'll heal totally.
Plus I'll get a scar. Women LOVE scars. Even if the story of how I got it isn't very illustrious.

Went to the doctor today because of some pretty intense foot pain and found out that I have gaut. Gaut, for those who don't know, is a build-up of Uric acid around the joints of one's foot which causes intense, burning pain.
Bad News: Red Meat , Seafood , and alcohol are known to cause gaut flare-ups.
Good News: Got a nice, big bottle of painkillers.
