Arjen Robben with bandaged hand in Doha

Postby Bayernbazi » Fri Jan 16, 2015 11:21 am

Reporters have noticed Robben with a bandaged hand and when they asked how he got it injured he replied that it was a crocodile  ....I hope it was not Guardiola or Sammer

The Internet is awash with articles who took this joke seriously. In fact, crocodiles aren't even native to Qatar. Apparently he sustained the injury in the weights room.

Its a shame that sense of humour is so scarce nowadays. #-o I don't how no one accused Suarez so far

Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben bitten by a crocodile? Sure… [source]

Over the years the Dutchman has been accused of plenty of dramatic dives and simulation, so it would have been interesting to see his reaction after being bitten by a croc, right?

I don't see articles with this kind of suggestions for CR7... butthurts.

Robben suffered a pinched nerve during yesterday's Champions League match. He will be out for a few days and could even play at the weekend. [source]

I had this injury myself once and when I asked the doctor for more details he told me that in medical terms it is called "Piriformis Syndrome, which happens when the sciatic nerve is trapped by the piriformis muscle". Then I asked for a more street friendly description and he laid it out this way: -"you have a real pain in the butt".
