It is predicted to be 28°C, feels like 30°C at kick-off
Niko Kovac almost approves.

Spain will show no mercy this time...

They look unbelievably different from their first game vs italy....

It won't be the first time for a Spanish NT to start a tournament with a defeat and up winning it.

If Kuntz does it again he should receive some kind of award or recognition. He doesn't have a golden generation like the one from 2009. This is all his work and effort =D>

He is the one to succeed Loew. Most probably the decision has already been taken

He should go now if he feels Afghan more than German...

After all he is an Afghan born in Germany

Which makes him a German you prick...
- Rangnick or ten Hag in!
- Bring a DM, a winger (Sané) and Havertz!
- Get a REAL sports director (Rangnick?)!
- Keep Hoeness and Rummenigge far away from the team!

Bit OT perhaps I met some Afghan Germans at the cricket the other day (it is the world cup here at the moment and Afg are participating. As usual England are shit despite the hype and I am rather annoyed)

They said they feel German and support Germany in football but want to support their mother country in a world cup for the first time, even though they knew little about cricket. I mentioned Amiri and they said they are desperate for him to do well for Germany

Well yes, I would also like to play the World Cup for Germany.

FIFA should be more strict with their rules if they don't want NT football to become like club football with transfers and sh!t.

If you represent your country at ANY professional level, then you cannot choose a different one anymore. That's it. You cannot change NT's just because you want to play a big tournament

And as an extra rule, I would say you must have lived more than 5 years in a country to be eligible to play for its NT. Dual citizenship should not be enough.

This is like Serge Ibaka in basketball

He was born and raised in Congo till he was 17, he then lived 3 years in Spain where he obtained Spanish passport and then he moved to USA where he's been playing for more that 10 years.

But of course, he plays with the Spanish NT.

That should not happen.

Germany U21 XI against Spain:

Nübel - Klostermann, Tah (c), Baumgartl, Henrichs - Eggestein, Serdar, Dahoud - Öztunali, Waldschmidt, Amiri.

Spain XI:

Sivera - Martín Aguirregabiria, Jesús Vallejo, Unai Núñez, Junior Firpo - Marc Roca, Fabián Ruiz - Dani Ceballos, Daniel Olmo, Pablo Fornals - Oyarzabal.

Yet again without Richter. I think Richter's performance against Austria really pissed Kuntz off

I don't agree with this decision... but I trust the maestro.

Even if Spain wins (which I think they will 3-1) I still believe that these young players did a very good job and deserve recognition...
