Went off on a rant at work earlier about England fans suddenly thinking they're going to win after two wins, one very unconvincing, against poor opponents and immediately got attacked with "at least we didn't lose to Mexico". Yes because one defeat and two wins against poor teams erases the two countries international football history. Germany's four world cups and three European Championships don't matter because they lost to Mexico and England winning **** all except one world cup at home 52 years ago doesn't matter because they beat football powerhouses Tunisia and Panama.

Ingerlund fans. I hate them
You have the courage and a big pair[WHITE SMILING FACE]
Thankfully you don't live in the 15th cent...
You would have been sent to prison or worse...

But do they ask you why?
They might think that you have some German ancestry...

They know why. Degree in German (indeed my job involves using German from time to time) many friends there from year studying and working there. When I explain, they don't find it as strange, but they still question why I hate the English team. I just stay I don't associate myself with hooligans and xenophobes which to me is what the England team represent or at least their fans do.

Yup and after March 2019 it's only going to get worse. Fortunately I have my old mates from uni to confide in, at least online and when we meet up a few times a year.

For the record I don't hate England, the physical piece of rock in which I stand is fine, beautiful in parts. I just at best feel a disconnect with and at worst hate, a lot of the population

This story is false. If it were real they would have brought up the war.

No it’s wrong because they never "won" anything... I mean seriously, if that was a goal I'm the fucking king of Europe...

My wish too (actually it was the formation I hoped before Sweden). A lot of attackers (we need to win ideally with 2 goals +) and a lot of balance in midfield.

I've taken the afternoon off. Returning tomorrow morning with Germany out of the World Cup does not bear thinking about. I can see Korea creating problems on the counter again and I think it will be difficult to watch again. Hope I'm wrong

I'm taking two hours off, otherwise I'd miss the match.

So far I've only missed Serbia-Switzerland and the second half of Peru-Denmark. Jealous?

Can't see tweet? Click here!

Almost like my preferred lineup, but I have Werner in the place of Draxler, and Gomez in the place of Werner.
Also, if Hummels and Suele play, I expect the latter to be the RCB and not the former.
