Well, the Germans have a chance to save face here. I think a promising performance can lessen the disappointment of an early exit.

I think the closing paragraphs make some very good points which are definitely a huge concern. Other than that I don't really agree with the rest of the article. The results of the youth development are definitely being reflected in club football.

Agreed! Defenders and proper strikers are clear weak points also this German team were in a group with Holland and Spain and they held their own against them both. Its not like they got destroyed in any of the games.....
