That makes it worse.

I know the who the vice captain is. Technically he still plays for us but he has decided to leave and go back to Sweden. Just a matter of sorting the paperwork after the WC

Cant get over how bad germany were against mexico truth be told i think theyre in big trouble today. The last two winners went out in the group and with the predicted line up still kroos, khedira as the holding mids the invisible ozil and muller on the right wing again i wouldnt expect germany to win. These have already done a job on holland and italy in qualifying so they have a big win in them as well. Hope im wrong and also hope the predicted line up i saw is wrong as after england, germany are the team i want to win this.

Löw used to be very stubborn but in 2014 and I think also in 2016 he improved over the lineup from the first few games and made the rigt changes. Let's see which Löw shows up today.

I am confident that Germany will win remaining 2 games and reach semis/final.

In previous 2 WCs Germany also wasn't able to get all 9 points - 6pts in 2010 (lost 0:1 to Serbia) and 7pts in 2014 (draw 2:2 with Ghana).

Not to mention 0:0 draw with Algeria in 2014 round of 16..

One bad loss and people are loosing their shi* and are afraid of Sweden/South Korea.. It's not like we need to win Spain and Brazil to advance.

And tbh, all big teams so far haven't been too impressive.. Let's judge Germany after this game.

My god
What is going on with Özil? My goodness... he is invisible, he doesn't provide NOTHING in any stat category.
Brandt and Gomez are something that may work out but Khedira-Kroos-Ozil is the slowest midfield of the tournament BY FAR
Two ex-players plus a tired world class one who can't pass vertically though. Unbelievable for Jogi Low...

Kicker's formations tend to be predictions not inside info.

Enough with the pesimism! I am pretty sure that we will go out there and give our 100%. Also I am sure that Loew will make any changes needed.

And if all these are not enough, well, that's football and that's its beauty. We will still be the team with most WC final appearances and the team that won it in 2014.

Who cares who does the job if it's done? I mean, it was Gotze who won Germany the WC after all...

I think losing the first game is the biggest fuck up you can produce in a tournament... It’s what happened to other teams that people rated mich higher than their result was showing... It puts your back to the wall immediately and makes you play worse... Now we cannot play any worse than last Sunday, but maybe equally shit...

Hey for all I care Brandt can transform to the next Ronaldo, Gerd Müller or Pele in this WC... I just think it’s not gonna happen... And if he truly were the savior, it would go to show that the rest of our team is playing way below their potential...
