A cervical vertebra? Is it just sore due to a strain or more serious damage due to impact that will require time to heal, in that 2nd case it can well be 7-10 days without training which mean missing the rest of the WC.

I have predicted a 2-1 win for the Germans but am expected Sweden to get the result. Gut feeling is that Deutschland is not winning this. Still I will watch out of hope and as a Mannschaft fan.

That Swedish journalist comes across as an absolute cunt btw. How many tournaments have they won? They're usually on the first or second plane back. With their shitty England inspired football. I always expect to see Neil Warnock or Tony Pulis in the dugout when they're playing

Time for some changes for Low. Hector,Goretzka,Reus or Brandt should start.
Ozil,Draxler,Khedira and maybe Muller should be out enough is enough they are playing crappy all season long with their respective clubs.

Hector,Goretzka should be starters for me in this game.

If Germany can't break down Sweden and create clear goal scoring chances, then they have no business being at this WC.

Strangely, I feel disengaged with the NT at this tournament including during the Mexico game.
At previous editions, I'd be a nervous wreck during every game. I was a kid during 1990, and have vivid memories (specially Matthaus against Yugoslavia) but experiencing 2014 as an adult will be unmatched. Beating Brazil and then Argentina in a south American WC is probably not going to be done ever again by any international side. The ecstasy of Gotze's winner is not going to be bettered (only matched) and I wonder if the players feel the same way. They are only human.

Even more reason then to inject some fresh blood into the team.

Loew has always been excellent at assessing the match situation and reacting promptly, but against Mexico, there was no vindication, absolutely none whatsoever to play the same XI in the second half. Completely and utter failure to react after a full 15 min break!!

You don't have to want Germany to lose, they will be shooting themselves in the foot. This is not a 10 game qualifying campaign where players can be given second chances.

There is absolutely no way all 3 of Ozil, Khedira & Muller should be starting.
