Lol I messaged Mutu the same sentence in half time and in the end:

F*****ing KROSS!

Both times with opposite meaning. :-)

Korea has a chance to go through as well but they must beat Germany. So it will be an open game with a lot of space available to attackers.
God, let's pray that Loew doesn't start Gomez now in this game when he should have started against Sweden.

It seems that the attack of these players, with Gomez ST and Werner, Reus and Muller behind him is working well. Hopefully we see more of this with Goretzka as CM.

Hopefully this result can turn the tide for Germany! Löw needs to be braver from now on. Drop the big names (Khedira, Muller and Ozil), stop his favoritism (please no more Draxler!) and the focus has to be on direct vertical football rather than side to side possession based toothless stuff.

I think Germany will win against the Koreans. I just hope other results go our way so that we won’t have to play Brasil in the Ro16!

With Gomez in Germany looks better clearly Werner is lost in possesion football. Brandt as a sub made more impact than Muller in two games. I hope that Low will bench Draxler for good.

Danke super Toni! He can reach Thiago's level sooner than later

I'll bet you the Koreans are going to park a triple decker bus and use counter attacks after seeing Germany struggle so much with the same tactic. And I am genuinely afraid of them because of their speed. I think Son probably reached the fastest top speed of the tournament so far against Mexico.

Both of you are right. Korea will try to score but will also stay compact. Expect an Atletico Madrid/Mexico type game plan. They will sit very deep but press insanely in their own half. Once they win the ball in their own half or the Germans make an error near the half way line they will break with pace.

Best game plan for Germany will be to play with the same second half intensity as against Sweden in the first 25 minutes against Korea and hopefully score the first goal. If Germany go into the second hal leading then Korea will have to throw caution out of the window and go full on attacking mode. That’s when Germany can find space and use guys like Reus, Werner and Brandt to exploit it!

As for the game I believe that after today’s display both Muller and Draxler have played themselves out of the starting eleven!

Yes totally! Gundogan is a weak player! He passed the ball backwards or sideways so many times instead of a vertical forward pass to an attacking player!

I like Rudy’s spirit and how upset he was to be subbed. He might not be the best talent but he has the right attitude and I hope he can play a further role in the World Cup despite a broken nose. Germany needs fighters like him and not ghosts like Ozil, Draxler, Khedira and Muller!

Re .
Kroos he made a lot of mistakes and I offended him big time...

But at the end he recovered.

Gundo, what a piece of shit... who the f k decided that he can play at this level????
